WundaBar Studio CityStudio City by Kacie 1
The Real Deal:
We were so excited to see that a new pilates studio had opened in Studio City. WundaBar is unlike any pilates class you have seen. The WundaFormer is a hybrid of a reformer, wunda chair, jump board, and ballet bar! Classes are small and intimate, perfect for the newbie or if you need a little extra attention. The WundaBar ToolBox class is free and is required for all first time students prior to taking a WundaBar Workout. It will help acclimate you to the machine, their specialized breathing technique and form. Classes are 50 minutes in length, but feel like 20. We have tried out a few different instructors and love them all. This is one of our new favorite studios and we hope you try it out/

I was so excited to see that a new fitness studio was opening in Studio City. I had heard of the Wunda Chair but never WundaBar Pilates, which started in Claremont with their flagship studio. The WundaFormer is an amazing machine, and after only a few classes I was hooked. I have been practicing pilates for years and was shocked to learn that at WundaBar they encourage a neutral spine and their breathing technique is opposite of everything I have ever learned. The WundaFormer, which includes the traditional Reformer, Wunda Chair, Jump Board, and Ballet Bar, is like nothing I’ve ever seen before. All elements are utilized during the 50 minute class, which seems to fly by in what feels like 20 minutes. The creator, Amy Jordan, is extremely passionate about her product, and it shows through her even more passionate and dedicated instructors.
