I have been waiting very patiently for CorePower Yoga to open the Sherman Oaks location for a while now. I decided to try the Yoga Sculpt class last night and was not prepared for what was in store for me! This was my very first hot yoga experience, and it truly is shocking at first. Within 10 minutes of the class starting, I was drenched, and sweat was dripping down my face, arms and legs. I would definitely recommend not wearing any lotion, and to wear very tight clothes….less is better! They advocate that yoga is the primary reason you are there and sculpting is secondary, so if the weights become too intense you should take a break. Milena was a great instructor and made me feel very comfortable being as this was my first time. You will sweat and get an amazing workout, my abs and arms can testify!! I highly recommend that you bring two towels…one for the yoga mat and one to wipe away all the toxin filled sweat!! Give it a try and let us know what you think.
